Sarah Ramsey ’12 Strong Scholarship Fund
Established by family and friends to honor the memory of Sarah Elizabeth Ramsey, a passionate and inspiring Champlain College alumna. This scholarship supports Stiller School of Business students who exemplify Sarah’s drive, creativity, and adventurous spirit, offering financial assistance to those seeking transformative academic or professional experiences during their junior or senior year.
The scholarship is open to all students enrolled in a major or minor within the Stiller School of Business who have demonstrated strong academic performance and a desire to expand their global perspective. Awarded annually at the Stiller School of Business Honors Event, the scholarship recognizes a student who reflects Sarah’s qualities: ambition, intellectual curiosity, a bold and independent mindset, and a commitment to experiencing life to the fullest.
Funding from the Sarah Ramsey ’12 Strong Scholarship may be used to support:
Study abroad at a Champlain-affiliated international campus (such as Dublin or Montreal), which may include a work-based or experiential learning placement.
Study abroad through a third-party program, particularly those focused on immersive cultural engagement and/or international professional development.
Completion of a high-level internship within the United States that is located outside the Burlington area and the student’s home region, encouraging independence and real-world learning in new environments.
Through this scholarship, Sarah’s legacy continues to inspire students to embrace challenge, seek out global experiences, and pursue their goals with courage and creativity.
